Nursery Benefit?
This is an employer supported benefit.
It enables employees who choose to use a nursery setting for the care of their child, to save money as a result of reduced tax and national insurance payments. This benefit can be used from birth up to the age of 5 (or when the child goes to school).
This benefit is a contracted partnership between your employer and a nursery. In order for you to access a workplace nursery place, your employer must partner with a chosen nursery. The cost of a workplace nursery place, includes all of the benefit administration costs.
This cost is recouped from your gross salary.

When Enjoy Benefits first told me about the Nursery Workplace scheme, I was very sceptical to say the least, mainly as I couldn’t understand why everyone wasn’t joining and shouting about the benefits.
Who wouldn’t want to make tax and NI savings whilst providing the nursery with additional funding to support their child?! We decided to give it a go and as my company also benefited from savings, they didn’t take a lot of convincing either.

The workplace nursery scheme has had a huge, positive impact on our family life over the past year. Let’s be honest, childcare isn’t made easy or cheap for people who want to return to work without any tax reliefs etc. Myself and my partner always used childcare vouchers once we / our child was ready for nursery which was helpful as we made a small saving but was capped. The workplace benefit is fantastic, it has saved us a lot of money, circa £4000 per year. It makes a real difference to us as a family and helps us do more fun things together. This year we’ve put the saving towards converting our garage into a play area for the children and next year it will go towards a once in a lifetime trip to see Santa over Christmas. The nursery are really on board too as they have an additional £100 per month to invest. Every business should look in to offering this to their staff – what an added benefit to shout about when attracting / retaining loyal employees!
I am very happy with the service provided by Enjoy Benefits. I have used their Workplace Nursery Scheme and saved many thousands of pounds over the 4 years I have been putting my two children through nursery. It was very easy to set up and the staff at Enjoy Benefits were always friendly and helpful with any queries I may have had. The nursery also benefitted from “extra” money each month provided from my employer which was put towards many wonderful items the nursery would not have been able to provide without the scheme. Items like tablet computers, chicks hatching at Easter and my favourite musical instruments in the garden. Enjoy Benefits even sent my son a birthday card with a gift card inside! My family have saved lots of money, the nursery got more funding and my employer got a very happy employee, it is a great scheme and if you are able to use it you won’t regret it.
The Enjoy Benefits team responded to my numerous queries at the outset to set up the scheme, were extremely responsive and the process was very clear and transparent. Once on the scheme, I benefitted from the significant cost savings and the team remained available to respond to any queries I had. This is a really significant benefit that has saved circa 25% of nursery fees. I highly recommend this scheme as a fantastic benefit to employees.
